Workshop Titled “ Geological Resources in Rasashastra” was organized by Dept of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana on 9
th March 2023 , from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm at Golden Jubilee hall R.A.Podar Medical ( Ayu) College, Worli,Mumbai-18.
Participants Registered for this workshop were around 58 across Mumbai & Navi Mumbai region.The Event began with Registration of participants & Kit Distibution .It was then followed by Dhanvantari Pujan & Dhanvantari Stavan .The Guest Speakers & other Dignitaries along with Respected Dean were Welcomed by Departmental Representatives. In Morning session two Lectures were conducted . First Speaker of the workshop Dr. J. B. Pishte Sir ( Geologist) started with his Lecture on “ Mineral aspect of Ras- dravyas; Hands on training.” From 10.00 am to 11.30 am. Dr.Aditya.Pishte Deshmukh ( MD Rasashastra) started with his Lecture on the Topic “ Applied Minerology for Grahyagrahyatva of Ras-dravayas.” From 11.30 am to 1.00pm following the session Lunch break was continued from 1.00 pm to 2.00pm.
Second session was started with third Lecture by - Dr. Asmita Wele, (HOD, Dept of RSBK, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune) on the Topic “ API provisions of Metals and Minerals” from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm. Last Lecture of the workshop was conducted by Dr. Chinmay Phondekar (MD Rasashastra) on the Topic “ Authentication and procurement of Metals” from 3.30pm-4.30pm.All the sessions were Interactive which were well received by the Audience.
The Valedictory Function was conducted at 5.00 pm with the Distribution of books to the Guest speakers as token of Appreciation. Feedback forms were collected from the participants & certificate distribution was done. The Event finally concluded with Vote of Thanks by Dr. Aditi Kulkarni ( HOD Rasashastra) It was a Nice Experience to work with all the participants & guest speakers. Overall the workshop was successful.
