In reference to the NCISM circular, under the guidance of Respected Dean Dr. Sampada Sant Ma'am.
On the occasion of "World Environment Day" i.e. 05/06/24 , Seedball making workshop was conducted by Dravyaguna department of R. A. Podar Medical College on 07/06/24 at 2 pm. In this workshop, Respected Dean Dr.Sampada Sant Ma'am along with UG students took the oath regarding Environment conservation, Dravyaguna department presented an informative clipping about Seedball making. Information was given about how trees will be grown from these seed ball after drying and dispersing them in jungles, parks, societies, etc.
Respected Dean Dr. Sant Ma'am addressed about significance of forest conservation, rampant deforestation, water scarcity and consequences faced due to these activities by the upcoming generations.
Respected Dean Dr.. Sant Ma'am and UG students then headed towards the Dravyaguna department garden and performed seed ball making activity using seeds of Tulsi, Ashwagandha, Marigold, Sunflower, Periwinkle, etc.
In this activity Dr. Sabu Sir, Dr. Pachghare Ma'am, Drm Bande Ma'am, Dr. Naik Ma'am, Dr. Samleti Ma'am, Dr. Sakat Ma'am all showed their active participation.
The faculty of Dravyaguna department Dr. Seema Atram, Dr. Bipin Dhalpe, Dr. Bhavesh Patil, Dr. Rashmi Patekar, Dr. Santosh Kadam and PG students, Dr. Dhanashree, Dr. Hetal, Dr. Vidya, Dr, Ambhrunee and Dr. Mrunal guided the guests and students about the seed-ball making activity.
